I am a 50 year male adult %26amp; I have a lot of adopted family members %26amp; some of them have new born babies %26amp; I've been asked recently to baby-sit; but, I need to know how to change a diaper because I've never had a family of my own %26amp; I don't want to make any mistakes; thank-you!!!How to change a baby%26039;s diaper?
Changing a baby's diaper seems like a large task but it is very simple. So this is what you do:

1. Have a diaper ready and wi[es ready before doing anything.

2.Place the baby gently onto the changing table

3. If the baby has a one z on, un snap the bottom and pull it up to the belly button. If just a skirt or pant, take them off

4. Unstrap the two tabs on both sides of the diaper.

5. Take the diaper and throw it away.

6. Life up the baby's legs by his/her ankles and gently wipe the butt or the other area.

7. throw the wipe away and place a clean diaper under the baby's bottom.

8. pull the front of the diaper up so it is now on the baby's belly

9. pull the tabs on the side one by one and strap them/stick them onto the diaper, do this on both sides and make sure it is tight enough but not too tight.

10. put the baby's clothes back on or get them new pnes if necessary.

Lay the baby down on a changing mat. Make sure you have a fresh diaper and wipes ready before you start. You open the diaper, wipe the area off...make sure front to back. You make sure the baby is clean and you put a clean diaper on. You lay the diaper out flat and place the baby in the middle, make sure the ends with the sticky tabs is in the front. Hint: usually the front of the diaper will have some kind of character on it. Good Luck!
