Diaper change?

Baby has started grabbing down in the diaper area during changes...how do you keep your baby's hands away when changing a poopy diaper? Also, how do you wash your baby's hands (other than during bathtime)? I am currently doing a washcloth with baby soap and another with just water, but it seems there has to be a better way.Diaper change?
I give my daughter a toy to hold, it works most of the time. The other times you have to work fast haha.

I sometimes run my daughter hands under running water, she loves that. Other times I use a wash cloth (just water) or a baby wipe to clean her hands.Diaper change?
give your baby a toy to play with so hes occupied with his hands and if you get a bowl of water so you can take it down to his level and half wash his hands for him but half let him do it so he gets whats happening and what to do.Diaper change?
My son loves to grab himself, I haven't found a way to avoid it other then have daddy hold his hands if he's messy-poopy, but he normally just goes for his penis, not his bum. Have you tried giving him a toy he likes?Diaper change?
First to keep his hands busy either give him a toy or a bottle, all else fails put mittens on him. As far as handwashing, you're doing it right with the washcloth, otherwise just to clean off sticky stuff after dinner etc try a diaper wipe.Diaper change?
You cant stop them grabbing. I use a Clean Wipe to wipe his hands.Diaper change?
You could try having an interesting toy to keep his hands busy when changing, one that's just for diaper time.

Washing the baby's hands is very important, and the best way is with soap and water, I know it's a little difficult with a squirmy baby, but very inportant because the hands always go in the mouth. Baby wipes are ok when out %26amp; about and no water is available, but not as good as soap and water.

Maybe try a small dishpan with soapy water and let the baby play %26amp; splash in it, then rinse?Diaper change?
that is a great way to do it or u can hold the babies hands under the running water %26amp; do it that way
