Does your teen ever change diapers on their brother or sister?
My daughter is 11 years older than her brother and she changed his diaper and took care of him and was almost a second mother to him. No one forced her to. She loved him and wanted to but there were times when she wanted to be with her friends without the little squirt hanging around and she did get to do that. He is a teen now and she is an adult with children of her own but she and her brother are still very close.
If you are saying that you think you shouldn't have to help with a younger sibling, I would think that if you love the little one you would want to help out. I don't think you should have to be totally responsible for him or her but it won't hurt you to help some.
Think of it this way. You are practicing on him or her so you will be able to be a good parent when you have your own kids. I tease my younger brother all the time that I made sure I made all my mistakes on him so I would be able to raise my own kids right. lolDoes your teen ever change diapers on their brother or sister?
I have 2 teenage sisters and a 1 year old daughter. The 13 year old actually wants to change my daughter's diaper. She loves to baby her and dress her up. The 15 year old will have nothing to do with diapers. When she was alone with the baby once and she pooped, my sister actually started to cry cause she didn't want to change her. im only 21 but would change my youngest sisters diapers when i was younger also i am raising my 15 year old brother and 18 year old sister (just moved out) for the past 6 years. so im not very typical.Does your teen ever change diapers on their brother or sister?
I'm 14 and I change my baby brothers diaper at least once a day. It doesn't really bother me. When I get home after school they're still at work, so I pick him up from daycare, and take care of him till they get home. The daycare is at my neighbors by the way.
