You have no businees having a baby if you don't know these things.

If the law requires a person to have a License to drive, why can't it require a person to have a license to have a baby??

You have to pass a basic test for a driver's license but no test is required to raise a human being? How does this make sense?Does anyone know of any videos that teaches parents how to bathe their infant or change their diaper?
Seriously. That's like, common knowledge. What do you need, a College Degree: BA in Diaper Changing 101? Seriously. That IS sad.Does anyone know of any videos that teaches parents how to bathe their infant or change their diaper?

This might help. it is a guide to changing diapers, and I bet bathing is on there too.

Most people think this is common sense, but you would be surprised on how many people don't know how to do it. My husband just DON%26quot;T do it. he gets poo everywhere, it is nasty. Don't listen to people who give you crap about it. Honestly I bet they actually wouldn't be able to figure out how to put a diaper on. It is completely normal, you are not the only one. Good luck I will try to find a bathing guide. It is definitely scary when you have a fragile child and you know that and don't want to mess up and hurt the child. I give you props for asking. At least you are trying to learn.

here is for bathing

There is a video library at the top. If you click on it scroll to the bottom there is a video on there on bathing newborn. And enter changing newborn diapers to find the other on. Good luckDoes anyone know of any videos that teaches parents how to bathe their infant or change their diaper?
I know they exist, but I don't know titles, or where you would purchase them. I watched a video and a demonstration with a doll during my childbirth classes. I know it sounds dumb, but the classes help with many of your fears, and also all those %26quot;dumb%26quot; question you are afraid or embarrassed to ask anyone else. I wouldn't have gotten through it without help from the class, my poor daughter would have frozen to death while I had to search the house for a towel, and clean diaper after I bathed her if I did it my way. they teach you about preplanning, and laying all the stuff out before you drag the munchkin over the sink and dunk it! Who knows what might have happened if i wasn't taught how first. I think it is important to realize that not every pregnant woman, or married man had a little brother/sister, or friends baby to babysit, and so this may all be new to them. You might look into the childbirth classes, they are usually pretty inexpensive at your local hospital, and they help more that you would think! Hope this helps. p.s. the grandparents are usually more than happy to give the classes as a gift, and they can all be done in one saturday if you don't have time for once a week classes.Does anyone know of any videos that teaches parents how to bathe their infant or change their diaper?
I teach childbirth education and baby care. You could try contacting Huggies. You may be able to view online the bathing and diapering dvd that they sent to me. The best and usually least expensive way to learn would be to take a class at a local hospital. I do have a copy of a video that I was using in my class and no longer need called %26quot;Baby's First Months%26quot;. It includes diapering and bathing (sponge %26amp; bathtub), as well as feeding, holding, immunizations, etc. If you're interested let me know, I'll only charge you $5 plus $2.50 to send it to you first class. Hope this helps!
